Headlight Conversion Help
I have a 1984 Firebird 305 5L. and I bought theses lights: Halogen Semi Sealed H4 Crystal Clear Glass Headlights (60/55W). The website says that they are plug and play but they are dim. I have been searching all over and some threads say "get a relay harness" and others say "change the head light connector pins 1 over clockwise, because the H4 light bulbs are wired differently". I am so confused and not sure what is the right approach.
Please help me out.
Thank you!!

Re: Headlight Conversion Help
Will the plug and go make them a bit brighter too? Right now they look very dim. I have not done any pin changes to it.

Re: Headlight Conversion Help
Compared to what you have yes. Your lights are not operating properly, swapping the pin or buying the harness will yield the same result. If you do a relay harness you're putting more power to the lights which will make them brighter than normal operation

Re: Headlight Conversion Help
Perhaps they need the balast component as well?
I just purchased a kit with the wiring etc, and they coem with two powerpack looking things that I'm assuming convert and power the lights.
