ignition retard box

I'm planning on possibly adding nitrous to my carbed 350
probably 50-100hp, is ignition retard nessesary with that much injection? can anyone point me to some good info on working with nitrous?

for every 50 hp that u add to ur motor 2degrees of retarding is necessary
