Straight pipe

does anyone know of any straight pipes you can buy that will bolt right up in place of the catylitic converter? i would like to eliminate my cat with a straight pipe on my 87 trans am. i saw one on ebay but got outbid so i was wondering i you can purchase them from a mail order place or something like that. please let me know, thanks

well if you can get a hold of a old cat and know how to do alittle cutting and welding or know some one who can you can pick up a 3inch pipe from "discount auto" its taper so it will side on your y-pipe. You have to have a 3inch cat back though for this. And you do is cut the ball end of the cat off and then weld it on to your pipe and then just slide it on your yipe and bolt it in place. The pipe will cost you like 18 bucks. Thats what i did to mine.
