Recently my top was slit and my column was destroyed in an attemt to steal my '89 RS. VAPS saved it from being taken.
I have heard that there are good armoured collars to protect
PLASTIC column on Camaro, but can not find a good one.
I just got an '88 IROC convert. without VAPS so very interested in any product/ ideas to protect it from thieving vandals.

a good alarm will deter some thieves..

a cheap idea would be to maybe install a on / off switch going to the battery.. and if they tired cranking the car and it would not do anything they may get up and go to another car.... install the switch somewhere where you would only no where in the car..

when i lived in the city i would pop my hood and pull off the main coil wire that goes to the cap, so i wouldnt start...
