SDPC return policy??
Hey guys I ordered the whole upgraded Vortec head package form scoggin dickys and when it got here today i looked at the one head and the last rocker arm stud is bent and it cracked the head where it is pressed in. Now I know I can return this and get a new one but I need to get my car on the road cause i have been without for 2 weeks now and its killin me. Now does any1 know if I have to send this one back and when they get it they will send me a new one or wut? cause this sucks and I better now have to pay another 30 bucks for shipping because some stupid *** UPS guy can;t carry a box without droping it. thanks for any info man
Well the first thing I would do is call Scoggin Dickey and tell them your problem. Make sure you don't install the head. When I got my heads (not from them) there was a label that said if these heads are installed, the warranty is void.
If it is UPS's fault, then I would take it up with them.

well what ended up happening is that I had to pay for a new head, but they are sending a tag with it that i can put on the box of the broken head and drop it off at ups then when they get that my money will be refunded. I did it this way cause I need to get this motor in my car. Its sitting on the stand with one head on it , cams in, timing covers on, balencers on, I just need to pickup my oil pump cause i had the pickup welded, and put the oil pan on. and then all i can do it wait for the damn head lol. Well that and for it to get warmer so i can paint the damn motor.
