Has anyone ever ordered from Pace before. I put in an order for teh TBI Strut Tower Brace however they responded and stated that they wanted a photocopy of my Visa card. No way I plan on doing this so I canceled the order. Anyone else have this problem?

I have ordered from Pace, and I used a credit card, but they did not ask for a photocopy of it. This may be a new policy for them, or maybe it's because you are not a U.S. citizen. More likely it is that when they entered in your information, it came back as an invalid number (transposition or something), or the card issuer is requiring proof that your card is not being used by an unauthorized person.

I don't know..it just doesn't seem secure. I have been paying with my credit card for a while now and this is the first time anyone has asked for a photocopy of it.

Call your credit card company, and ask them if they requested this on your account, and ask for their advice on this if it was not imposed by them.

i work about 5 minutes down the street from pace. i'd be happy to call them on your behalf and ask if that is a policy of theirs.
