Helminc.com

I purchased two service manuals, 86 and 92 Camaro, and a 92 Camaro owners manual from helminc.com on the 17th and recieved them all today... all brand new! I'm drooling all over the influx of information. Highly recommended!

They are definitely worth the money, IMHO. I have one for each of my thirdgens and they have come in handy several times over.

Check Ebay now and then, there are some on there and once in a while you'll find a deal.

Haha... yeah Trickster, but don't give up on everyone else here!

I even got a listing of part numbers... not very new, but I'm sure it will help in my searches. I'm officially a firm believer in the following:

Helms Manual Source

I did a search in the forum and found another source for the manuals. www.factoryautomanuals.com I got the 88 manual for $60.00. Ordered it last week and it was here in three days. At that time they said they had three in stock. Looks brand new.

I don't think it's spelled out on their site, at least I havent seen it, but if you g o through and find your manual, you'll see that the price is as I say.

By the way, it's only pre 95 GM cars.

Yes, there are at least two manuals that are priced a little higher and a couple that are $23.00. The lower priced ones are the 1983 firebird and camaro manuals. The 1991 camaro manual is $67.50 dollars because of a supplement to it that is not listed. The 1989 firebird is $149.00 because it is a reprint that was done by helms, there is also a 20th anniversary supplement to it for $8.00 or both of them for $157.00. I asked about the 89 firebird manual and was told that was not part of the GM stock.

Ordered an owner's manual for my 88. Ten bucks and it includes a maintenance schedule at no cost. The service manual was $145 since it was out of stock. Pass on that. Good deal on other though, thanks for info.

Aw man! What timing. I was jazzed to get a used one Tuesday on eBay for my 88 Firebird for $20.49 plus $10 for S&H. I could'a had a new one for just a little more. Oh well, no biggie I suppose. I'd have just gotten it dirty and torn in short order like my other HELMS manuals. No excuses people, pick one up while they're on sale.
