Auto Shipping

I do not know where to post this, and a search didnt do much. I just move out to Nevada, about 40 minutes from Vegas. My Camaro is in NJ at my parents house. I need to get it shipped out here soon, and I am looking for a company that is somewhat reputable. Anyone here with some personal experience?

I had my camaro shipped from Cali-AZ ,and I used a company called Action Auto Movers..Auto Transport - For auto transport, auto shipping, auto mover, auto transporter, transporters call Action Automovers, Inc. and they are based out of Wiscousin ,but have numerous tow drivers across the country.I had no problems with them even the quote was accurate, didnt change once the car arrived.Just make sure you explain to them the condition of the car..if it drives,no leaks,etc..

I haven't used Gibson Trucking, but I got the name from another member and he has had success with him.

I've never personally used one to transport a vehicle. But I can provide a resource to check out the history of auto transport companies and get feeedback from their customers:

DAS autoshippers are probably the best out there. It wont be cheap whoever you use so mine as well get what you pay for by using the best. They have different options to chose from.

Reliable Carriers
However they are expensive.

I used DAS, my only complaint would be they dont really ship door to door. The car should be loaded where its picked up, and shouldnt leave the trailer until its destination. DAS uses local pickups (flatbed tow truck or the like) and takes to a holding yard, ships on their truck to the other holding yard, then a local pickup to your door. More chance for damage that way.

No they dont. A true door to door would load on the truck, and offload off the same truck. They dont. I know, been there, done that. Its door to small truck to holding yard to big truck to holding yard to small truck to door.

Just make sure someone is present for the inspection and when you get the car, check it out very closely, especially the undercarriage. It'd be best if you could personally be on both ends, but I know thats not likely.
