BYUNSPEED

im not trying to stir the pot here or anything but, i am the friend that was refered to in the previous thread on this company.

i ordered my parts back in like Oct. no hoilday season so they should not have been that overwhelmed w/ orders.

i had the same probs if not worse. i called at least 100 times(not joking here either) and i did leave messages w/o any return call or even an email, ever. when i did finally get someone on the phone he said that the parts would ship out in a day or 2. now keep in mind it had already been like 3 weeks since the order was placed.

i understand the headache over all of this. buit i have to agree, at least in my situation, that is you leave someone a message you would expect a call back.

the only thing in saying here is if you run a biz and state a certain ship time then you need to hold up to it. if not at least have the curdosity to let people know what is going on. just dont leave them hanging wondering where there hard earned money went too.

i think we all expect people on this board to be honest with each other. so when there is a problem with a supplier we want to know about it. i dont see anything wrong with that.
what i do see as a problem was the tone and insults from the last post, which appears to be gone now.
i also did not like to see new people with only 2 or 3 posts to suddenly get into it. it appeared to be manufactured, like they came on only to defen d someone.
hope it all worked out for you.

so thank you for the information.

Re: BYUNSPEED

Im speaking from three orders through Byunspeed. ALL my parts shipped out in less than 4 days, and i recieved them in under 10 days, including 50 pound SFCs. I called one time about my order(my fault with a limit on a card) and they answered right away, and were very nice about MY screw up. I will continue to buy from them.

Also if you dont mind me asking, what did you order? Byunspeed ships out of the actual manufacturer and maybe they were backordered? Sorry for the inconvenience they're causing you, and im sure your angry, i hate to see good companies get a bad rap because of something minor.

Re: BYUNSPEED

yea i was at them

like i said you can atleast call, send e-mail, or put on your order info thingy on the net that your items are on back order...... but you know how it goes, you can go to a place out to eat all the time and its top notch, you take a freind and its bad what im getting at is some have had good luck and others havent with byunspeed.... all i can hope is that he (the manager/owner) realizes his shortcoming in his system and corrects it, i hate to see someone close down over miss management

but as of now im 100% not at all impressed with how it was handeled.... i can only hope this post stays mature and we can get a real idea of good or bad this company is and hopefully have a good outcome for our TGO members to take the that everyone posts on here and use it to their advantage, maybe if they chose to buy bring up the fact that they have heard of some issues with how orders are handeled.

i ordered the rear LCAs and a panhard bar which was a pacakage deal. by no means am i trying to thrash a company and advise no one to order from them. that is not the case at all. im just giving my personal experiance w/ them.

if others have had sucess w/ them thats great. i just didnt.

That is because there was no problems.

FYI, thank the mods for deleting my post. The OP can bitch but people can't defend Byun?

I'll get straight to the point for those who didn't read my last deleted post.

Post up your name and some kind of order confirmation for us to see and I'll get the info from Byun to post up when your order supposedly went out.

I can guarantee you this OP is lying and will not post up any kind of order info to prove me wrong.

Re: BYUNSPEED

i never said that everyone who ordered from Byun had a problem w/ them. i never said they were a bad company, never said i wasnt satisfied w/ what i received, nor did i ever say that no one should ever order anyhting from them.

and i certainly didnt expect anyone to come out here and rant and rave calling people liars and act as if they were called a worthless company and others should shop elsewhere.

all that was stated was that there was an issue w/ a couple of orders and the information was put out to let others know that if the same problem came up they should be aware of it.

dont come out here w/ your holier than thou attitude and totally turn this post upside down. there was nothing said to destroy there integrity as a company.

my order took 11 days to ship and 4 more days for it to get to my door so thats 15 days when was suppose to ship in 4. BTW here is my order straight from their site...

Order : 6805

Order Date: 09/11/2008

- Color: Red 201520$164.64$164.64 Sub-Total:$356.86Total:$356.86

09/11/2008

so it took just over two weeks to deliver not 3 like i originally stated. so i was off by 6 days, at any rate was still longer than stated.

So you are still off. It took six business days to get custom made SFCs for a third gen to you. SIX BUSINESS DAYS (12th, 15th-19th) if my math is correct. FREE SHIPPING is 3-4 business days so subtract that which I'm assuming you got. According to my math also, looks like you got all your parts discounted.

Tell you what, instead of crying, buy it from somewhere else next time but I can't speak for the man. It'll take longer elsewhere.

Re: BYUNSPEED

first off i wasnt crying never once did i say i was pissed about it! never bad mouthed them! all i said was it took longer than was expected and i needed them ASAP so w/ shipping in 3-4 days was the best option. i got them 11 days after the 3-4 days promised. if it couldnt be held to that then atleast notify me of it, dont keep me waiting.

and as far as your attitude over this whole thing and taking everything said out of content then i will take my business elsewhere and so will everyone elsae that i know that is looking for parts. so your buddy can thank you for losing some business for himself and possibly more if others out here get a bad vibe over all of this.

Re: BYUNSPEED

look im done with the crap with vette boy here

all that is stated and ture is that 2 partys had trouble with byun, maybe 2 people have had trouble with him out of 1,000

i personaly did not like the way he conducted business with me, its not the way i ran my company, and i expect to be treated better as a customer, me and ken (navycm) are posting this just to tell people that we had a problem, so others would know and possibly help them with their order from byun

now i will say that i got my parts faster and got treated the way i would like to from another company, still never got a reply back from byun, he never even replyed to pay pal, instead he just let pay pal wait the 10 days to award the case to me.......li just stating what hapened to me and so is navy, if him and i are the only ones that byun made mad in all his like then so be it me and ken have bad luck, or maybe jegs and summit have spoiled us.....IDK

but look from one person that has ran his on company to another ( a freind of byun) you are not helping him with your comments, if i were an outside person i would think that byun is a pile o' crud, based on your actions and comments.....i feel that for the best of your friends company you should not comment anymore with you over the top and inmature comments

so here is my final thing one byun

PERSONALY, I FEEL THAT BYUNSPEED'S MANAGEMENT IS NOT UP TP PAR AS I WOULD RUN MY COMPANY, ON THE OTHER SIDE I HAVE SEEN OTHERS THAT HAVE GOOD LUCK WITH HIM, MAY I SUGGEST YOU TO YOU THAT YOU EMAIL BYUN BEFORE YOU BUY TO GET AN EXACT SHIP DATE ON YOU ITEM..... OTHER WISE I FEEL THAT BYUN HAS REAL GOOD PRICES, CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ME WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED BUT OTHERS SAY ITS GOOD, MY BEST ADVISE FOR YOU AS A BUYER IS TO MAYBE CALL AND EXPRESS YOUR WORRIES TO BYUN BEFORE YOU BUT, HOPEFULLY HE WILL RESOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY AND GET YOUR PARTS ASAP

Re: BYUNSPEED

Hello,

If any of the shipping delays through Byunspeed are for UMI products the shipping delay was on our end and not Byunspeed.

With the huge holiday sale we ran we received a large amount of orders and we processed them as fast as possible but not all orders shipped right away. If Byunspeed did not have the item in stock at there location it comes to us a drop ship. In this case we were very backed up and orders took upwards of two weeks to ship. We apologize for this and hope you can understand Byunspeed did not hold any orders and it was us causing shipping delays.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me.

Thank you!
Ryan

thanks again, the main issue was not being informed of the delay and not getting a return call or someone to pick up.....but its over and done with, all the post is hear for is so people will know that they may be hard to get ahold of
