Jesus so has Summit only give Summitbucks on special deals now? I loved when they just gave you $20 for buying a decent amount of parts in a order.



All that and only given a code/summit bucks twice. Still love Summit. Awesome Customer Service and very fast shipping.

 

When I made my first purchase back in 2006 they had a points system. Once you got something like 500 points you got a $20 off ANY purchase, even if the part was under $20 you could use it. Now they give Summit Bucks selectively. Most the time on very expensive parts.

You make me want to roll out my wad of Summit Orders. Only thing is my orders are all different sized pieces of paper. Yours are nice and neat. Nice picture.

Don't mind the cash showoff went to the bank to get the money out for my new Daily when I took the picture, it did feel nice holding money for once. Wow, that's really not too bad of a price for everything needed to swap your gears. The only thing I'd be worried about is if those Summit brand gears are any good. If they're imported from overseas, they might end up being noisy or wearing out really quick, so I'd make sure of the quality of them before plunking down your cash. Also, did you make sure to get the "thick" gearset so it can be used with a 2 series carrier? Sorry, but I don't have any discounts right now that I could send your way. Good luck!

 

ive been buying from summitracing since 1999.. i spend probably 500-800 a year... never once have i ever received a discount number or summit bucks.. or anything.. i feel jacked..

 

Wow, that does suck! Lol. I think it totally depends on when you order something more than it does how much you actually spend. I've had times where I've only ordered like a lousy 20 dollar gasket or something, and they send me one of their discounts or Summitbucks vouchers, then I've had other times where I've spent around the same amount you just mentioned, and received nothing! Actually I can't say nothing, I almost always get a ballcap and a new catalog, but the discount deals are totally random it seems. I've probably got about 5 or 6 of their ballcaps, and about the same number of them from Jegs too! Lol.

 

I've never got anything but stickers. Should be due for something good!

 

Purchasing from a retail store also provides points towards discounts. Online purchasing does not.

 

Yeah they always do the stickers and hat, and lately it's been the new Gillette razor I've been getting (have 4 of those now). I just want a small discount here and there.

they did a cam for me with comp cam. 2 years ago..(mech roller billit core cast gear presed on)
it set on my shelf for2 years. then it cam time to install.. and i see the core is wrong hardend cast core...WRONG!
called them. let them know... not only did they send a call tag for the cam. they got the right one cut. and did not charg me for the billet core...seems the billet core is $300+ I was charged $200+. saved me close to $100. THANKS GUYS.

but just think..if i did not read it close. and checked the part# cam material. i would have installed in and with the spring pressure im running it would wipe out the cam and eng!....(always read everything you are sent)

even just last week the rear coil overs i orderd. part numbers ending in 332 i was sent 331. they had to send a call tag for that and drop ship the right ones... always check your stuff out..they have never stuck me with anything. Love summit!

I just ordered wheels a week ago,when I called to correct the order(my mistake) the girl asked if I needed anything else after correcting the order I jokingly said some tires to go with the wheels would be nice,she laughed and said she couldn't do that but she could send a hat and shirt,sure enough I got another box with 2 each hats and shirts and a new catalog.
