XTRALIGHTS.COM

On 9/28/12 I ordered a set of clear side markers and 2 sets of the front turn signal housings. As of yet they have not shipped. As of yet they also have not answered my emails asking to either ship immediately or to cancel my order. Their website says most orders are fulfilled same day, but some may take up to three days. Been a weeeeee bit longer than that.

I have contacted my bank to dispute the transaction and recover my funds.

Lousy non-existent customer service. Run away from this website fast and far, they obviously do not take their business seriously.

I ordered some lights from them for a customer at the bodyshop I work at. They took forever but did finally arrive in good condition. Have you tried calling them?

Nope. Can't, I'm working during their office hours. However, they claim on their website to have immediate customer service via email (yeah right, LOL). I filed a dispute today and posted such on their facebook page... at that point, they responded within an hour (after ignoring my queries for 3 weeks). It is ridiculous they take so long to fulfill orders, since their site promises rapid shipping, and if over 5 days they contact you and let you know what to expect (nope, they did not).

Anyway, they cancelled my order once they read my message saying I had filed a dispute... and now refuse to issue a refund (saying that since I filed a dispute the bank will do it, which is wrong... the bank wants you to try to resolve it yourselves... oops oh well). NOT a good vendor, horrible customer service, they don't even understand how a transaction dispute works, or is settled... ....

I am willing to bet they are a dropshippee... that you order, they charge your card to pay their dropshipper(s), and then you wait for the stuff to ship from wherever, and if the dropshipper is out of stock you are screwed. Or if they pocket your funds or use them to pay rent and make you wait till they get the paycheck from their regular job to order your stuff, LOL.... I don't trust, and will not do business, with someone who had to charge my card so THEY can order my stuff from THEIR vendor. That is a BS hokey backwards way to do business.

But I'm just guessing.

As a side note, they have bombarded review sites with bogus 5 star reviews. I know this, because the sites that have user profiles, the vast bulk of their favorable reviews come from 'users' with exactly 2 reviews each... one for xtralights.com and one for 360tuner.com. Sitejabber.com is a great example. That right there says 'shady'.

Note: What appears to have gotten their attention finally was my post on their Facebook page. Within minutes a second person chimed in saying that they RMAd a set of bulbs back to Xtralights a month ago, and xtralights is still jerking them around on a refund. Apparently I am not a solo case here.
