Winston Tires
Winston Tires
These guys are horrible. They had to order my tires which was ok, but when they finally got in it took the whole day for them to do an alignment and put on the tires. I just got a nail in my tire last week so i took it back to have it patched under the road hazard. I came back in an hour and my car hadnt even moved. They said sorry and to give them another 1/2 hour. After that i came back and my spare was on. they said it was too close to the sidewall so they couldnt do it. My new tire was supposed to be there the next day ( sat.) i went back and another guy said it wasnt in and it would be in mon. I called mon. and i was told its in Reno and itll be there on wed. On wed i went in and they said it wasnt in but they patched my old tire. so i used my spare for a week for no reason.

Don't give up, insist on getting that new tire.
I haven't dealt with Winston since leaving California (Lemon Grove) 6 years ago, but still have a couple of their tires on the front of the '57, if you can believe that. I've been dealing with Discount Tire since coming to Colorado, wish I would have while in CA. The problem I have with them is they are so good that you wait 1/2 hour in line just to let them know what you want. But, I'll take that to a run-around any day.
Another thing, I never leave the premises (either at Winston or Discount) while they're doing their thing. Something about having you in their waiting room motivates them just a little more.

Discount tires is great. I dont leave the place my car is at either, just make sure you know your car pretty well as these guys LOVE to come tell you that something is wrong, but that they can fix it while they are doing whatever, especially with performance cars.
