Yup. It's another I got screwed story. I put in a wanted ad a couple months back for some rear GTA seats. A few people responded and Dave Laperche (perch399@hotmail.com) responded and he even called me to talk about it. I paypal'ed him the cash for the seats.
List of excuses I've heard since: Lost my address, somebody else was supposed to ship them, I had a car fire and I was in the hospital. I've had no responses to e-mails for a month. I sent a request for a refund back through paypal to no avail. I got a mail folder with every e-mail he or I sent just in case but... no seats.

Looks like I got screwed. Don't let it happen to you. He was posting on the classifieds before the new format came in but I haven't seen anything from him since.

It's called internet fraud. Its against the law. Try threatening him with this (see link) and then report him if he doesnt send the money back. Vhttp://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp. If you know his address etc. the local police where he lives should also get involved.

im suprised paypal didnt refund your money, usually they side with buyer over seller and ask him for proof that he sent...delivery confirmation # or something in paper saying you recieved this in exchange for the money you send him on paypal....having sold on ebay for awhile now..I've had to refund a few ppls money because I get my delivery confirmations all mixed up or lost over time
