Fuel Pressure going real high when trying to start

Just finished up my stealth ram install.

I plumbed the fuel rails with braided. The lines from the rails go into a Magna Fuel FPR, which then goes into the return hose.

When trying to start the engine, the fuel pressure gauge on the reg. burys. It is a 60 psi gauge.

If the car sits for a few minutes, the gauge will read about 40 psi, overnight, it goes back down to 0.

The car is not starting ,but I think the dist. may be 180 out. I am going to check that tonight,.

Just a little concerned about this fuel pressure being so high.

Is this normal?

Is this an adjustable regulator? If so I'm guessing it might be set too high. Also, what kind of fuel pump are you running?

Well, when all else fails read the directions. I dug it out and it said the pressure must be set with the car running. Its okay now.

Car is running too! Distributer was one tooth off.
