Can a HSR support this?

I am in the process of purchasing a set of AFR 195 heads with the competition CNC porting. This on a 350 (or 383) and a XE276HR cam.

Bottom line is, can the HSR flow enough air to support those heads? Or do I have to get a single plane and try to convert that to MPFI?

(Or just go carb)

The 276 isn't big enough to tax your heads anyway.
Or the HSR....

what about same heads (well, AFR's, but 210s) on a 406 with a HSR ... would a CCA-08-306-8 (290/307, Lift .510/.540) be good? not looking for gas milage.. looking for the best cam from around 2500-6500 rpms and likes nitrous.. alot (250 shot)

Well, I do have 1.6RR's, so that makes it slightly more aggressive, but yeah.

I am hoping for about 1whp/cubic in. Basically 350whp for a 350 or ~400whp in a 383.

I do also have a 150 shot laying around....

HSR flows like 275 cfm down each runner....teh AFR heads flow 265 through each runner so.....yea.....the HSR will do just fine and people on the www.stealthram.com forum have that setup and it works really well.

on a 383, i would go xr280 or whatever that cam is with 230/236 degrees with those heads and intake.

its what i plan on doing. i think it will make peak power near 6000rpms. which is all the higher i want.
