Like the question states, who has recently purchased one and from where? Apparently the newer castings (2006) have much more material for porting so I'm looking to get another one from summit, but I want to be sure that they don't send me one of the older ones. I know several people on stealthram.com said they bought one from summit earlier in the year and got a 2006 casting, but I'd be pissed if spent 300 on another intake and got a stockpiled 03 casting like I already have.

 

I bought mine from Thunder Racing (site sponsor) earlier this year and the date casting is 2/7/06. It has the extra material around the ports.

 

Excellent, I just ordered another one. I guess this works out good so that I won't have any downtime on my car.
