Need some help W/HSR tune.....
I have bought and installed a complete HSR with commander 950 for my ZZ383. I also have the WBo2 sensor. I can't get this damn thing to work right for the life of me!
I have been over at chevytalk.org trying to get some ideas what is going on. But having no luck pin pointing the issue. I am hoping someone here can give me more ideas.
I'm about to go
I don't want to re-type everything so here is the link to the thread over at chevytalk.org please check it out and give me some ideas!

First off, I don't know anything about the C950 so I'm just tossing ideas.
There appears to be an offset to your readings from the sound of it. (Figuring the fuel settings in the ECM are somewhat correct)
Not sure on your WB setup if anything is grounding through the sensor housing. The exhaust is probably not a real good path to ground.
The ground wires from the WB should tie to the same ground point as the ECM so signals are referencing the same point.
Jump additional grounds to see if any of them help with the reading.
Head to head, Head to chassis, exhaust to chassis, etc.
A jumper cable is the easiest to try things with.
IMO, 40* is high for idle, should be able to run with 10* less and still be smooth.
Of course check for miss, fouled plugs, or leaks that will make the readings lean. O2 measures O2, nothing else. Incomplete combution for any reason will leave excess O2.
The sensor could just be bad as well but from what I've heard they read or they don't. Not "kinda" read.

Well, here is my .02. I am not familiar with the holley commander, can it work with either a wide band o2 or a narrow band? If so I would check the commander settings and make sure that they are set for wide band. If the settings are for a narrow band, it will misread the voltage from the wide band sensor and not run.
I am using Megasquirt and it is important to make sure you tell it which type of sensor you are using otherwise all fuel readings will be way off.

I have a 383 AFR headed speed density file if you can use it....I don't know if you can. 40* is high for idle. I'm at 22* with a max of 32* right now....I haven't tuned WOT yet.
I do have a copy of another 383 file from the c950 I can send you and a fuel table. Should be a good starting point for you. You can probably get away with a 650...but start out with 750 and work your way down. Stock IAC tables should be ok. Any more questions, just asked or PM me and I'll do everything I can to help you out.

I have worked on it a bit and found the the WB controller went bad. So I had a replacement sent and a week later that one went bad. So now I am using a Innovate LC-1 and that one works great. I am having a hell of a time getting my idle right. It keeps hunting. I would very much like to try both of your files if you could send them.
