ive been thinking seriously about putting a side mounted blower on to my '91 5.7L Z28 with TPI,
ive JUST missed out on two blowers on ebay ..
any ideas,shot cuts do's & DONT'S would be greatly appreciated

Hey boss, funny that you wrote this cuz I'm trying to fix the bugs on mine.
I have a 91RS with a RamJet 350, centerforce clutch, 6spd richmond.
What charger are you going with, I went procharger D-1, little big but good.
Is the motor stock and will the rods hold the boost? I have powdermetal, good for 500 some say others say more.
Intercooler? I say a must, cooler air more HP.
Programming is the KEY! are you tuning yourself or someone going to tune it for you.
Fuel that is tuned in it will hold you HP, if you switch to Cam2 or something else you could loose alot of hp, 50 to 75 or less.
I have a b cool rad.3 core, tight on the plumbing!
The air intake seats on the driver valve cover pulling in that hot *** air, try to keep it high and if a cowl hood with the back open would help alot.
This was a brand new self oiled procharger, 5600 with the intercooler throught a dealer, it might be much and could find it cheaper but its nobody elses junk but mine now...Lol, hope this gets you thinking
