HSR MPFI Kit

Installing a HSR MPFI Kit into an 86 T/A. Trying to send the Base Map to the ECU for first start. I keep getting the message- Run time error 8010, Hardware unavailable, blocked by another device. All connections seem fine, ECU has power, Fuel pump primes, then this message shows up. Any thoughts ? Thanks.

Re: HSR MPFI Kit

I think that you need to get back to the manufacturer on this matter. Good luck, and keep in touch. The MPFI kit is a speed density system, isnt it?

Re: HSR MPFI Kit

Yes the Kit is Speed Density. I had to buy an Adapter to connect the USB cable that came with the Kit to my Laptop. The Adapter Software was supposed to automatically open the USB ports on the Laptop, but the old Windows Program wasn't up to it. The Computer Store that sold me the Laptop figured it out for me. All is well.
