Easy New HSR Mod that allows to fit

Been tracking this. The guy has a C4 and with his spacer it should fit under an F Body with no modification to the hood. Check it out.

Probably won't fit even then, however cutting the base has been done years ago:

Why would you say that when the guy documented and took pics of all of the fabrication for the test fit on his C4 hood? C4 hoods are lower than an F Body too. I would encourage you to go back skip ahead to the 4th page so that you can see the mock up and test fit pre production.

Re: Easy New HSR Mod that allows to fit

i think it will work fine that way... my TB hit the hood too, but also touched the top of the plenum where the IrocZ louver indent in the hood is. If it was a flat hood it fit better but wasnt bad, you can grind down those plenum ribs.

TB is the main problem it sticks out straight when it should angle down

I wonder how well it will perform.

You guys don't think it will cause air disruption having the TB angled downward like that? I bet the front cyls run rich.

Re: Easy New HSR Mod that allows to fit

HSR already has distribution problems, but for me it was the rear cylinders that looked most rich. The air flow directed upwards like that may help even things out...hard to say.
