who else is running a lt1 intake
Ok I got my 355 in and am running a lt1 intake with the lt4 hot cam. I was wondering what I should set the timing at? also I am having an issue with the throttle cable not allowing my throttle to open up all the way..I figure a lokar cable should fix that.right now I have it rigged so it will open, but it just dont have the power I think it should, and I think my timing has a lot to do with it..If anyone else is curretly running this set up I would love to chat with them..
Re: who else is running a lt1 intake
I had to modify my throttle bracket to move the cable back about an inch to get full travel. And the stock timing table sucks, I also am running a hotcam and after modifying the timing table it bounces off the rev limiter (6150 rpm's) almost instantly from idle in frist gear. Thats with 3.07 gears in my Vette.

well I fixed the throttle by getting a lokar tpi cable..I have the timing at 10degrees btdc... it feels good in first gear but boggs down in 2nd..I also noticed that I lost my kickdown...maybe that has something to do with it?I have adjusted it a few times all with the same result...when I did adjust the tv cable I noticed that it does'nt ratchet back out on its own unless I depress the button...Is that the sign that the tv cable is shot?
