Stealth Ram Intake
I'm trying to find out some real world info on this intake. I'm currently running a SuperRam intake system, upper, lower and 58mm throttle body on a 383. I'm also using the cam designed for this intake, 219/560 using 1.6 rockers. AFR 190 heads and SLP 1 3/4 headers, thru a Flomaster 3" exhaust. My 87 Formula is making at the wheels 335 hp @ 5200 and 420 ft tq @ 3500. I'm making 380 ft tq @ 4200. I'm running 12.3-12.5 @109-110 mph. when I can get my Nitto's to stick. I figure the Stealth Ram would give me some more upper end power. Just don't want to loose to much at the bottom. I would like to hear from some people using this intake and what they think of it.
Thanks,
Tom

Re: Stealth Ram Intake
Check out the Alternative Port Intake thread. Tons of info there. Also try the search button. The Stealth Ram will kill some bottom end power, but it will make up for it on the top end. By any chance is that cam the Lingenfelter 219 cam?

Re: Stealth Ram Intake
Torque curves are very similar;HSR has less than 10ft/lb difference over a SR but 500 rpm further up

Re: Stealth Ram Intake
How do you like the current setup? I am about to go 383 and have similar mods. Let me know! Anything done to the trans or rear? Stall?
