Gauging interest for FIRST Fuel Injection TPI.
Gauging interest for FIRST Fuel Injection TPI.
I'm seriously thinking about the FIRST vortec manifold for myself to replace the existing Edelbrock TPI- anyone interested in saving a few bucks and going group buy? I don't think I could get 6 for the preferred rate but at least it might cover shipping or something?? I'm checking in over at Corvetteforum and FSC trucks too. No pricing yet other than $995 for the basic intake and TB- I'll see where it goes from there.

I was half heatedly looking at them. Not really sure if the price is worth the change from a stock TPI.
I don't know why this is a re-release. What is different from the original version?
Nevertheless, for a good group buy price I might be in.

I don't know about a re release, I do know that the egr option has been discontinued because of lack of demand. Since I went vortec (sounds like you aren't)- my options are a little limited. I believe that this is designed for larger engines and not so much of a compromise for a 5.0L- this would be a far better deal for someone upgrading from stock, I'm upgrading from an Edelbrock system which isn't too far from pricing out this unit. This thread is no longer valid as I went ahead and purchased the unit as there wasn't a demonstrated interest. Ken seems to be a good vender to deal with and his customers have nothing bad to say about the product.
