injectors for HSR

I was just about to order some Bosch 3's from Southbay and thought I'd better check on size. I have a stock L31 out of a 99 Tahoe and am about to install an HSR. For now no cam but probably next year something mild like a LT4 or similar (with spring upgrades...) Are 24lb injectors about right or ??

thanks

Re: injectors for HSR

24s would do fine. With the Bosch you can raise the pressure with no ill effects to the injectors.

Re: injectors for HSR

thanks guys, I'll get that order in. Southbay is great to deal with, the smaller Bosch injectors for the old 5.0 worked out great so they'll get my business again.

Re: injectors for HSR

Yup; the 24 #/hr light blue Bosch units, as used by Frod, should be right about perfect.

And while I'm asking dumb questions, I get that i have to use a small cap distributor. If i buy one from Rock Auto or Summit, for say a 1992 Z with the 5.7 (e.g. Cardone 841830), it would have the roller cam like the L31? so the gear drive (material) is the same?

Correct, any V8 distributor aftr 1986 will work fine for you.
