So im putting together my car after switching it to accel thruster and an intake swap with an eldelbrock base and superram runners and plenum. The body of the accel dual sync distributor is hitting the rear odd number runners. Wondering if anyone knows what base will clear the dual sync or am I stuck getting the rear runners notched to clear

 

You can try notching it but the best option is to get a tall deck dual sync.
FYI the original Accel/Lingenfelter base was made to clear with a std dual sync.

 

Thanks for the info, im pulling the base today to swap to a carb setup for the time being, but if the notch dont work il track down a accel base
