I stumbled across RCS Racing Engine's 383 FIRST Fuel Injection Crate motor on their site: they advertise it as 460 HP & 520 ft lbs!


No information on heads, cam, any porting done to the manifold, etc... But I'm reaching out to them ASAP to see if they're willing to provide any more details.

They are a top-tier builder (built a naturally aspirated 400 Ford Cleveland engine that made 737 HP and and 620 ft lbs on pump gas for this year's Engine Master's competition and made 3rd place over all), but depending upon what we hear back, this might be very doable for many of us.



I'd love to see a dyno sheet on this guy. Some of us have been looking for engine dyno-validated #'s on a First Intake and it seems one might be finally available and I think it's just as good as many of us had hoped/ expected!

No doubt a first tpi on a well setup engine can make power. Freeing up power thru tight machining tolerances, low viscosity oil, small ring packages, etc. no accessories to drag power. It all adds up but the first does have flow potential
