Holley Low Ram

I'm putting an LQ9 motor in my 83 Camaro. Has anyone else used the front feed Holley low ram intake? It's the newer design and doesn't look like it would get in the way. I'm looking for anyone who has already installed or used one, see if they are worth the money.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Lo-Ram for LS based engines?

Re: Holley Low Ram

The LQ9 is a 6 liter iron block LS engine. ...and I've seen intake too. Considering an LS swap too and have been paying attention to what's out there. Don't have a ton of info for ya.

Re: Holley Low Ram

I went ahead and bought it, I get a huge Holley discount so it only cost about 120$. It is heavier than it looks and very solid. I put a good Comp cam in it and I will be putting a set of 3" dual exhausts in, it will breath very well. I have to finish converting the Corvette T56 to fit an F-body before I can drop it in.
