SuperRam prices

So I'm pondering a project using a superram and was simply floored when I see what kind of money people are asking for them these days... is the demand that high for out of production parts that's leading to the prices people are asking?

Re: SuperRam prices

Super Ram's are a pain in the d1ck to work on. And with the FIRST manifolds being available for a very reasonable price, it's collectors that want that vintage Super Ram look that drive up the prices. Performance wise the FIRST manifold is just as good in my opinion.

Oh, I had one back in the day, so I know just what a pain they are to work on. Yeah, I am after that "vintage" look which is why I'm considering one, but not for that kind of large. Guess it's on to the FIRST unless something falls in my lap. Thanks.

Re: SuperRam prices

It would be awesome if first did some R&D and made a super ram top and runners for their high flow bases. ironic that the go to engine for cheap power for 50 years is now a dinasaur, and does not have aftermarket support. at least not for street efi stuff that fits F and y body cars.
