tints wont come off

i have an 86 z-28. when i bought the car 2 years ago the guy that previously owned the car did a realy s*#@tty tint job. i remove it from the windows just fine, bu then i get to the hatch. i can peel it off because of the defroster lines that run left to right on the glass. are there any trick s to removing tint? remember its pretty s*#@tty tint.

The tintdude link is your best bet. He suggests usins straight ammonia, harsh on lungs harsher on tint glue. Good Luck
