Have you priced 17" wheels and tires lately?? That's really not a bad price. Actually I'm pretty impressed by it. Even most 4th gen wheels once you add in the cost of adapters get close to taht number.

That is slightly less than $175 per tire. They are $169 from tire rack. I think its a deal - one S&H charge, and the tires will be mounted right out of the box. I have these tires (250/45/16) on my car now and they aren't a bad tire.

Per Gary on Friday 5/10/02 "The wheels are being manufactured this week, and painted next week. We should have the first batch sometime later this month...we had a slight delay in the manufacturing schedule."
He continued by saying "You should have them by the end of the month...hopefully before."
Hope this helps. If not, please do like I did and email him directly @ ronalusa@ronalusa.com.

285/40/17 would be a little large for the front, rear would be fine. Some people run a slightly smaller tire (275/40/17 standard) up front because they will rub just a little. Although, my stock wheels rubbed so it's not a huge deal.

Well, if SLP is intending on selling them again, obviously it is not a scam, as noted by several other thirgen.org members....
Seems like SLP put in a pretty sizable order for RONAL to fire up the mold again.

Anybody know the weight of these wheels?
Just my .02, I run the BFG G-force KDWs on my stock 16x8s right now and I love them on the street and road coarse. I'll find out how they hook up on the strip at the end of this month.
If I decide to upgrade to 17s I'd buy the KDWs or KDs in a heartbeat.
When I bought my 245/50/16s they were $180/each. Now they're down to around $125/each.

Ron,
They weigh 24 lbs which is ok for a 17 x 9 1/2 rim. Their are others that are a few pounds lighter, but way more expensive.
