The guy who had my car before me put spray tint on the tail lights. I liked it at first and so left it alone, but now I think it looks like crap and want to remove the tint. What can I use to remove the tint that won't harm the plastic? From what I understand that stuff is just like clear coat.

 

You can't use any sort of chemical remover since it will eat the plastic. The only way to do it will be to buff it off. Once you do that I bet it will look hazey and you will have to polish them. Depending on which tail lights you have it might be easier to get a set from the junk yard.
