Rims

I was wondering if anyone had gay stock rims that were the same color as their car? I have a teel car and i was wondering how to get the paint off without messing the rims up? thanks

LT1, the only way that you're going to get that teal paint off is by using some strong paint stripper. Aircraft style. but... It will also take the clear off of your rims, so you'd have re-clear them. There may be another way to do it, if so i'm sure someone else will chime in

That is pretty much the easiest do it yourself way. You could also take them to a media blaster and have them strip the wheels.

Media blasting is the same thing, only they use materials that won't damage the aluminum. Sand blasting is fine for steel, but too harsh for aluminum.
