Money is a factor of what brand/type of tire you use. I recently bought BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW's. They set me back around $700 but I think it was worth it. A lot of people have gone with KUMHO's with great results, for less money. Even going from 15's to 16's you will gain a lot of performance.. going to 17's you gain a little more but start to lose comfort. IMHO 18's are too much.

what kind of performance would i gain? I dont think i have enough power yet to need a really wide tire. i know alittle wider tire may handle better but im sure the 700$ i save on rims could go towards something that would help performance more...like SR torquer heads
