Are the side moldings car clour specific or are they paintable?

Are the side moldings car clour specific or are they paintable?
Getting the car painted just want to know if the door bumper guard molding is already coloured or is it pantable.

The moldings come in specific car color, but there's no reason why you can't paint them to match.

It would look alot better if you bought new ones, they're pretty cheap, so why not. I think Classic Industries has them, look them up. I've seen re-painted side moldings that have looked like crap cause the paint gets too thick and it's just nasty looking.

Not if you paint it right.
