Does this car sound like a good deal?

Does this car sound like a good deal? Saw this car at a local gas station for sale. I only looked at it for 5 minutes cuz I was in a hurry, but here's what I know:

86 Z28
LG4, 5 speed
T-tops, power windows, power locks

Paint looks good, except for scratches on the nose under the grille, a medium sized chip in front of the driver's side headlight, a few small paint chips here and there, and a small dent about the size of a quarter behind the driver's door.

I didn't have a chance to run it or look under the hood.

Asking price is 2500/best offer.

I figured I could offer 2200 and break even selling my v6 Camaro.

What's the milage? I'd try to get them down to $2k considering it has the LG4 in it. Too bad you don't live in MD, there's an 83 Z with 350 (Edelbrock Performance Package) TH350 Trans, B&M Megashifter, with the turbo Z hood for $2500, said he would take $1800 for it though.

sounds like a deal to me. I got my '91 RS for $1500 and sounds just like it has the same mishaps as that car. But mine is a RS with the L03

Doesn't sound too bad if the mileage isn't outrageously high. I'd try and talk him down to $2k for it though cause of the LG4 as Mark said.

Yeah I'm gonna check the mileage, I was just in a hurry. I was told $2500/best offer, so maybe I'll ofer 2000, maybe end up settling on $2200. A few years back I bought a parts car from the same place, I think I offered 100, got the car for 125.

Anything in particular to look for body wise on the car? I know the obvious...wheel well rust, floor pan rust, signs of stress cracks, but anything else, especially since its a t-top?
