To all the Firehawk wheel naysayers

SLP is selling them. They have them in the new CHP magazine.

The SLP wheels have the machined finish, just like the original Hawk wheels, unlike the ones Ronal is selling directly. Decisions decisions...

Gary at Ronal. That's why I didn't buy a set. I asked him 20 times if the finish was the same as the original Hawk wheels, and all he would respond with was "these wheels have a painted surface". He never answered my question, but I had assumed that the firehawk wheels had the machined surface. Now SLP is advertising their wheels with a machined surface, just like the originals.

Yeah, the SLP and Ronal wheels are the same - both hoave a machined finish. Have you seen the pictures? The 'windows' are painted silver but the surface is machined and clearcoated, like the originals.
