Selling my car. For how much?

Hi guys. I'm selling my car so that I can get a 1992 25th Anniversary Edition with the 350. Well I was wondering what a good asking price is for it? Its a 1985 Z28 TPI with T tops, 88k miles, new brakes, tires, distributor, heater core, and t-top seals. The only modification is a Hooker cat-back exhaust and a ram air kit. The body and paint are very good. It has one minor rust spot the size of a dime on the right quarter panel. The interior has only a little wear. So whats a good asking price? I was thinking 3750 with some room to negotiate. Any help would be appreciated. -Dan

C'mon, somebody has to have a good estimate?!?!?!?! Please? I really need a number to go by other than Kelly Blue Book which is like 2300 dollars. And getting it appraised is a pain in the ***. Tell me if my number is way off or whatever.

3750 might be a little high. But it all depends on the individual buying it. THere is a 88 Camaro Rs in Midland near me right now that has 120K a 305 TBI and a decent interior. THey are asking 5,499. That's probably why it has been sitting there for two months. Our cars just don't sell worth nothing right now. But a sticker price of 3500 knowing that you'll probably take three is about right. Good Luck.

If it's in as good a condition as you're saying it is, I would go no lower than 3500.

My '87 V6 was 3,800 I believe (soon to be finished with a complete re-paintiiiing) so no, I don't think 3750 is too much, but like I said....try not to go under 3500.
