if you can wait till next summer. better to wait for a good paint job. them to try to save $$$ and get a $hitty job now. what is the first and second thing people look at when they seea car

It all depends on where you go, but you could get a pretty good job done from $500 to $1500. Will depend on the body damage you have among other things.

 

It all depends on what your idea of a "good" paint job is too. Some people pay $500 and are happy as hell with what they get. Others could pay $1,500 and be disappointed in the results. For anything of reasonable quality with a 2-stage urethane paint, I'd expect a bare minimum of $1,500 to sand, mask and shoot. If your car needs any body work, add that in. Can you get a paint job for less money? Of course. Is it a paint job I'd want on my car? Not a chance.

Also, keep in mind that a "temporary" paint job of poor quality is going to haunt you down the road when you want it done right. Then you're going to pay to have that paint stripped off the car, which is likely to cost more than it did to have it put on there. Suffer with bad paint for an extra year until you can afford to do it right the first time.

 

You get what you pay for.

 

I did the cheap jobby and it was a waste, so don't do it! Save your money and go somewhere good! I think 2500 should cover it!
