I dont think wet sanding will help in your case. Wet sanding is a process that smooths out the clear coat and gets rid of any blemishes like scratches, swirl marks, etc. By buffing it back, it brings the shine back to the paint because the clear coat has been "restored".

Wet sanding is used in the process of prepping a car for paint or after it has been painted with a base-clear paint, you would wet sand the clear then buff it back to a high gloss shine. Unless you are planning on painting your car, I wouldn't recommend it.

You don't have to paint the car if you wetsand. I forgot who it was, but someone with a red RS did it about a week ago and now its MUCH shinier.

cfirebird86- It won't be able to bring your car back to like new condition, but some parts might look shinier. What have ya got to lose? Supplies- 2000 grit sandpaper and a hose. Wet the car, and lightly sand it. It will be dull, then you need to use some kind of rubbing compound to buff it to a shine. I'm sure many will recommend 3M products for that. Good luck!
