Answers... The 69 will be all motor, I am looking at either Reher-Morrison or Bill Mitchell, my mind has not been made up yet, I need to get a gameplan, then will get into building it. Hopefully by the end of the year, it will be underway.
As for the rollbar in my 91, the kit is from S&W racecars, it is the 8 point that they sell. I bought the extra door bars that allow the use of the factory armrests, then used the standard door bars as the ones going to the rear. It is not really done how they meant for it, but I knew what I wanted and went that route. It took a while to get it done, but definenatly worth the work. Not many people notice it when just glancing inside, so I feel I did a good job, I wanted safety along with a stealth type of bar.

Hoop mounted at the floor.... By the way, I welded the entire thing in, not a bolted in type.

The valve covers are from GM Performance Parts, not cheap, ranging from 199.00 - 229.00 depends on where you shop. I got mine from Pace Parts about 4 years ago and paid 228.00 . As for California living, it is far from cheap to live here, I could sell my home and move back East, pay cash for an even bigger home and live pretty good for a while...... I don't know about jobs and pay though back there.

Yeah... wages go hand in hand with cost of living. It isnt cheap to live around here either. At least from what I have talked to other people about. I live in a one bedroom apt in a nice area and I pay $920 a month. My mom had the same apartment in DC and she paid $1400 a month. Florida is a cheaper place to live but wages are less. I considered moving down there. I can't the could. Plus camaros dont drive in snow. More like slide and crash.

I have not welded in the bars that run from the main hoop to the foot area yet. Those are what you are looking for, right?
