Hi guys, i have a 1976 Firebird (besides my 87 camaro) and i was wondering if it would look good if i put Black GTA crosslace rims on it. The car is a metallic silver with a Black stripe on the bottom of the doors and has the word Formula in white letters on it. Do you think the GTA rims are a good or bad idea? Thanks

 

I think GTA rims look good on any car, in black or gold. On that old of a car I would try to find some of the older trans am honeycomb wheels. The gold (or white) rims with the big hexagons that look like a huge honeycomb. Those are cool

 

that car deserves some Pontiac Rally 2 wheels, IMHO. anything 16"+ just doesn't look right on older cars, but that's just me.

 

Man I think that would look awesome. Black wheels always look good on silver. And I love older cars with bigger wheels! I saw a black 78 trans am once with black mesh TA wheels....looked awesome

 

Hey guys thanks for everyone's thoughts, I scrounged up a picture of the firebird for everyone's opinon for rims. Of course new rallye II rims would be sweet, I like my cars to be a little bit different. Here's the pic guys, thanks

 

I love GTAs on 3rd Gen F-Bodies...

I've been thinkin' of buying a set of black ones to go on my IROC.. haven't made a final decision yet..
