I love photochop. Tell you what I'll try and help as much as I can.
A layer is a single pic in the same window. This is what you want. Its easy *** a postwhore. First go to file new. Open a new canvas to work on. Always resize the canvas first by going to image canvas size. Now your ready for a back ground color. Just use the brush to paint it. Set the opacity to 100% at the top left somewhere. Make sure to select the brush first though. Now that you have all that info that you probably already knew here is what you want to do.
Go to file open and find the pic of your car, open it. Now use the lasso tool to select the part of the pic that you want. Learn the short cut keys cause the keyboard is easier then the mouse sometimes.
EG.
press "L" to select the lasso
press "B" to select the brush
Just leave the mouse over the tool to find the shortcut letter
Now when you have the lasso selected hold down shift (if its not that key use alt but I think it is shift) holding this down lets you select all that you select with out accidently erasing it. Play around with that and you will see what I mean.
Well now that you have the part of the pic that you want to select you should see these lines dancing around the pic. K now you want to copy that easy. Hold down CTRL and press "C" this will copy you selection. Good if that was hard to outline like a whole car or something you want to save that. Right click and pick save selection. Call it car outline or what ever.
Now we are ready to paste in the other window that you went to file new and painted the back ground. Now that your at that hold down "CTRL" and press "V" now this will paste that pic. You can use the arrow tool to move that around. But the best thing to do is use the marque tool. If you cant find it press "M". Now right click on the image you pasted and go to transform. This way you can drag the Image around by pulling the center and you can resize it by moving those little squares around that are on the top, left, right well you got it right?
Now you wanted another image in there. Do the same thing as above. File open a new pic. Outline a image, copy it, go to your sig window that you are working on, paste it, position it, resize it, get the hang of it, go to the "anybody want a sig made" thread and do it for other people and help
KEEP THE MONSTER POST ALIVE
