ARgghh, turtle wax on weatherstrip!!

The spots where it got on the stripping turned white. Is there anyway to get it back to the original black color? It was my first time waxing.

Depending on exactly where you got the wax, you can do one o a few things. There is no way to keep the wax off of all the weatherstripping, trust me! Anyway, if you got it on the metal stuff like around the windshield you can use some rubbing alcohol and sometimes that will get it off. Apply a little with a rag then with a toothbrush (use your parents if you don't get along with them ) scrub it off. If its on the rubber stuff you can use this stuff made by meguiars. I forget the name but it is made for black trim. It will restore the nice black color. Good luck
