new addition to my engine bay

Just go my GM performance parts valve covers in and I think they added a nice touch to the engine bay.

Looks good. NIce engine too.

I only paid $45 for my valve covers with timing chain cover too. I'll post pics tomorrow once I finish the cam install.
What intake is that by the way?

Could you please tell me how tall that manifold is? I am considering one of them converted to fuel injection, but don't know if I can make it work with my stock hood. I was thinking a drop base air cleaner, but not sure. Can you give more pictures showing the clearance without an aircleaner? Thanks. By the way, nice valve covers! I am a little partial to those myself

RU-QWIK,

My intake has a 2" raised plenum and with a drop base air cleaner and a 2 inch K&N it was flush with the top of the hood so it would not close. Weinad also makes this intake in a 3/4 raised plenum that would probaply work with the stock hood. Mine was sooooo close,I'm sure the 3/4 would work.

Yeah, those VC's are sweet!

Have you guys seen the latest ones from GM? Smae cover, only 3 1/8 versus 4 1/8 and they also have the PCV holes already drilled.

Holy Chit! i would kill for an enjine bay like that.
the only thing i'd do diff. is to get a braided upper rad. hose. and get a nicer loking brake fluid reservoir.

Thanks to evrybody for the kind words.

Ratstix,

I agree with you completle. I have a brand new master cylinder in my shop. I just put the Baer Brakes on the front and when I find time I'm gonna put the 12 bolt out back with the Baer brakes then put the new MC on then.

redbird_400

Tehy do have these type of cover with the Pontiac logo on them.
$225
