Hooking up power driver seat in 3rd gens?

I don't have power seats in my car now and wanted to know how hard it is to connect the power seat switch so it works? I know i need a constant power which i could probably tap into the remote for my radio. Or does anyone have a better place that is easy to get to? And i would have to run a ground wire which isn't hard. the hardest part i know of is trying to get a good power sorce all the time. Someone help

Mine had the power seats originally. Now I understand not all cars have this but under the dash on the drivers side there right behind and above the hood release there is a black power distribution box with orange wires this is were my seat is hooked into. Worth a look.

I installed...

4th gen power seats by just tapping with a T wire tap into my cigarette lighter. I never use the lighter, but have tried them both at once and have yet to blow a fuse... Or notice a draw on the alternator. I mean how often do you adjust your seats? I have done it once since I have had them and never again. It's not a direct battery link, but it is a constant that works just fine for me.

May not be a great idea long term for someone who adjusts their seats and smokes a lot. Just a thought....
