I have an 86 trans am with the wrap around spoiler (not sure what it's called).

My question is: can rear louvers go on this car with that spoiler?
Do I have to remove it first?
Or won't it work?
Anybody got pic of an 86 with louvers on the back?

 

They make a different set of louvers to fit the aero spoiler(this is what you have). I'm sure you can still order them. To put them on you don't have to take the louvers off--they go on like regular louvers.

 

Do you mean I don't have to take the "spoiler" off (u said louvers)
Hmmm, I have a set of Kobels they are the 3 piece set. But I have no idea if these are the ones that are compatible with my car. I guess if I just lay them on the car, I'll find out huh?

Oh, by the way, I have no mounting hardware for these louvers, any ideas on where I can get some? I've been asking around on here, checking the boneyards but still not having any luck.

I don't really know if you can still get the hardware. Have you tried to call the company? Can't hurt.
could you take a pic of the louvers laying on the ground? I think the ones for the aero spoiler aren't flat tapered like the regular louvers are-they wouldn't fit the contours of the spoiler if they were.
