looking for dual billet grills....

my 82 Z has the early front end w/ the 2 small plastic grills w/ the licence plate in the middle. The whole middle is attached to the front bumper, so im looking for 2 billet grills that can be put into the smaller grill areas. they are held by 4 bolts, and i could prob do it myself...but would rather have somthing that is manufactured or more professional. any one know of a company w/ them? if not i'll find some " import mesh " or maybe find some place to custom order them.

an old post I know. I like the concept. I need to put some grills on the nose of my 82 T/A. I don't dig the plastic grills at all. They look sooo trashy to me. I have been thinking about some ***** expanded metal grills too. How do you guys thing it would look?

I think the small diamonds in the expanded metal would look sweet as hell, and I could work a dual snorkel set up too. Or but some badass driving lights.

I saw some cool ***** grill at a car show today. It was like the grill on the opening of my cowl. You know, the honey comb stuff. It was painted white but looked so cool. It was molded and all kinds of stuff it was every where on that little cavy.

Where could I get a sheet of that stuff?

But first, has anyone seen it before so I know if it would look stupid before I waste the money on the grill.

Your best bet would be to use some "import" mesh to use.......

They don't make one........

Or you can order a billet grill and cut it....

the grill in your sig is what im looking for, except my front end is a lil different in that i wouldnt have one large space, but two smaller square spaces next to the front license plate holder
(which mine has Z28 painted on there, is that stock?) i was thinking more of getting it custom made, but does anyone know of a place that will do that?
Opha
