My new spoiler

Here's my new fibreglass spoiler, yo. It's, uh, really sweet. I didn't need all the traction from those heavy aluminum wings so I went with the lighter fibreglass. Looks just as cool though. It totally helps off the line guy. Check it out check it out, all GTAs should have one of these babies.

Gotcha thinking I was a complete moron for a second didn't I?

For anyone not totally up to speed that was intended to be a joke. It's a fibreglass replica of the stock aerowing. Technically it does make a difference off the line though (it is lighter than stock. Great, even less traction...). If anyone still doesn't get it please let me know and I'll explain it really slowly.

Oh and that's my neighbor's friend's Mustang. It's a 6, nothing to worry about there.

was there something wrong with the old wing? Mine is cracked and I am looking into getting a new one. Where did you get it and how much?
So, has the neighbor attempted to race you?

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks guys.

The old spoiler did the typical stock aerowing thing, it cracked and rusted the frame all to hell on one side. A shame, the other side is practically mint. Oh and the Mustang won't even try. I was worried until I found out that it wasn't a 5L. lol

The spoiler came from Paradise Alley in Toronto. Not a bad deal for $400 Canadian eh? He mentioned charging $400 US if he had to ship it south though. Oh well, I'm on the right side of the border for a change. The body shop said it was a VERY tight fit. They had to pull the ends apart quite a bit to get it in place. I just hope those clips hold...

I actually haven't even washed it yet (soon). It needs a week or so before I can polish it. Until then I'm scared to even touch it. lol

Thanks for the compliment. It's not perfect but it's better than a month ago.

Not like the 4.6L would give you much worry anyways, seeing as thats a new Mustang
