I'm 19, I've had three thirdgens(I paid for them all). First was an '86 firebird 2.8, with a cowl hood, second was a 92 firebird 3.1 with a system and some other little mods. Finally I got my car now, the '87 WS6.

No the car was not on e-bay. It was in hemmings for some time though.
The spoiler is one of the main reasons I love the car.

This was one of my rides when I was 20 (the others were a 57 Chevy Belair hardtop, 327 4 speed, and an 86 Regal T-type)...
Its an M2A2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle....650 HP Cummins Diesel, 900+ lbs/ft torque, two TOW missles, a Hughes 25mm Chain Gun, and a M240C coax machine gun!

I am 15 with a bandit edition because the the guy who had it didnt know it was a bandit edition, because it had been repainted and they put the wrong stripes on it, but you can see where the old stripes were because i dont think they cleened the glue off of where the old stripes where. and i also have a 4 year loan on it, that i pay for myself, and we arent rich and i dont get an "allowance". I still owe 7,000$ on it but will be paid off in a few years. And no i dont want to trade for yours but i would sell it if the right offer came, and it would have to be more than i still owe on it.

My Car Biography
19, paid for all of my cars myself, many learing experiences.
#1. '86 Chrysler Laser base model 5 spd---fell asleep after work outdoors @ 115 deg heat index, 55 mph dead stop into a telephone pole---totaled
many spare parts:
#2 '86 Chrysler Laser XE turbo auto trans. ---pretty impressive electronics, but that was it. Waste gate arm broke causing it to kill that engine.
#3. Took first loan for '86 mint Black Iroc 305 auto.---did run good, but engine died early this summer and hasn't started since, but ran good for 2 years. Storing until I have money for the blown 383 I want.
#4. '88 Ford Escort GT---bought to haul stuff to school and so I didn't have to take my Camaro to Flint my first year. Underbody and suspension rusting apart not too reliable, but good engine w/ 39 mpg.
#5. '89 Toyota MR2---Reliable enough so I can save my money until I get out of college to work on the Camaro.

Thanks for the compliment I really like the car it has leather interior, the preformanc suspension package, it has aful rearend gears in it they are 2.56 posi rearend, it has the pontiac 400, the car is all stock, i had to take the air compressor off of my airconditioning, although it was locked up, because it was impossible to change the spark plugs, put i stll have it and would like to rebuild it and put it back on. The car is completley #'s matching and was Zebarted from factory. It is cool that i can do 70 mph in first gear and not hit my redline. Black leather interior on black with ttops, and the special edition package. It is one of 2,XXX cars.

I've had my fair share of comments. Some people tell me it's gorgeous, some people say it's ugly as ****. It doesn't really affect me. I love it
No pics but im 19, bought my 91 Z28 when i was 17, just got done installing stealthrammed 355, converted it to 5 speed, 17's, new posi, racing seats, and i just rebuilt the front end with and energy kit, and painted it all over the winter before the motor went in, ill have pics soon, then i gotta figure out how to post,
Oh yeah, its all paid for by me!!!, and most of the work was done by me!!( had some help by a guy who builds motors, cause it was my first one)

I'm 17 and I think my cars pretty awesome (at least I think so)
. 1990 T/A 305. Body and paint in good condition, except for that aero spoiler and some stone chips on the front. Not much done to the engine except dist. cap, wires, Hooker Super Comp. headers/Exhaust and air filter, but a bit of work done to the suspension for road racing (my dad raced it at Sebring a few times before he sold it). 2" drop spindles and springs, adj, yellow Koni's, Energy Suspension bushings, Hotchikis STB, Panhard bar and LCA's. Spohn LCA relocators, SFC's and Global West wonderbar waiting for installation.
The best part is in the school parking lot; all the ricers are dumbfounded. They just floor it over the speed bumps, and they get so mad when I go really slow so that the headers/air dam doesn't scrape (they are those really tall speedbumps, the car isn't slammed or anything)

Oh, and unlike many kids my age, ive still got the stock delco radio.
Sometimes it'll just konk out for a few days, but then I just listen to the sweet music comin out of my tailpipes!!
(that sounds really corny)

Oh, and my parents didn't pay for it. I got a good deal from my dad (it had been rearended a few years before (value goes waaaaay down), so he sold it to me for what a dealer would), but I still paid for it myself.

i guess i'll put in my 2 cents while im in here...
im 20 now, bought "maggie" (my car) 2 march's ago, so when i was 18.
cost me 5700 bucks canadian ($3500 USD)
since then i've put pretty much every damn penny i've earned / acquired into her.
still a long way to go, but i'd say she's nice.

im 16 years old, i got my car as a gift from my family, and i dont want to hear crap about that, i blew up the stock tranny, replaced it my self with a new one, took out the LG4 for a 355 with over 300hp, then built the tranny again.
soon i am building another 355 that will have all the things i want and i wont be rushed, this engine will be a time taking process that will have ALL the go fast goodies.
here is my car.

I bought the car myself last year when i was 15 for $2500 and have been restoring it since. Only thing I've bought for it since is the cage (roughly $500 total). I found a T-56 for a good deal and my dad's going to pay for the installation as a Christmas present. Im now 16 and can drive it

Here is my baby after she got back from the paint shop. Since the first time I posted on this thread I had her painted and I put a 3.42 posi disk 4th gen rear in. ohh yeah in 19 currently goto college full time and stock shevles full time. I paid for everything in full.
Got my first third gen when i turned 16, it was a 89 Firebird 2.8 V6.
I am 18 now and bought my 88 Trans Am on Sept 4, 2002 for $3200. It's a 305 TPI auto. Check more pics in my sig.
Paid for both of them making commision at Sears in power tools department.
