"in memory of" Moral ???? (Not 9/11 related)

http://www.phillyburbs.com/intellige...rd/1678557.htm

John Ruch, the driver, is the kid who did 90% of the body work to my car, then the really good guy basically just sprayed the paint, sanded, and buffed it.

Well John died, I was kinda friends with him b4 the body shop, and was friends with him at the body shop. He contributed alot to what my car is now.

should i get something small airbrushed somehwere, or put a decal somehwere ...something like "in memory of" or Special thanx to"

I was thinking of getting a vinyl decal printed small to go somwhere, so it doesnt stand out, but still on there somewhere.

Wow man, that really sucks. If he did a lot of the work to your car, I think a small decal would be an acceptable thing to do. I'm not sure where to place it, but I think its something I would do.

In Memory of
&
Special Thanks to
John Ruch
1985-2002

and have it on the rear sumper somewhere, in either silver, brown, or an orange that is slightly diff. then the orange of my car.

I know how you feel the guy who painted my car just over a year ago ended his life about a month ago He was not only my bodyshop guy but a friend of the family. Very well known guy in the comunity. My Grandpa taught him some of what he knew and now they are both gone!!

That sucks......

the lady that used to cut my hair for 4 years died in a car crash and i was good friends with her son and nephew.....no fun for anyone......

I would suggest maybe make a mat(like the ones found in the 30th TA) that rests in the back hatch area above the gas tank.....with that written on it.......

Yeah if it was my buddy I would. If I were you I would put it on the spoiler. Maybe you could like have a fundraiser and sell them to set up a scholarship fund in Automotive fields or something like that for him. Believe me I know how you feel, I have lost a few friends in the past few years.

I like FlyinLow's idea of having a mat in the back hatch area.

I say just get a small sticker/decal for the hatch glass off to the side maybe. I've seen other cars when they have friends die, do similar things.

I like the rear hatch and window ideas... either would be really neat to do.

That's cuz it can.

I never have my seatbelt off when I'm in the car, sometimes even when I'm just sitting in the car, it just feels weird. I was raised made to wear it and it feels weird with it off.

I'd do a decal right in between the top hinges on your back glass. Sorry to hear the bad news too man.

I like this idea in silver. Put it on the rear bumper towards one side. I also like the idea of making a mat though.
